It is reported that around 5,000 fuel cell vehicles will be promoted in all places in 2020 in China, and the total number of vehicles will reach 10,000 by the end of the year. The three major cost problems of hydrogen production, storage, and transportation are expected to be gradually solved in the “New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2021-2035)” and the forthcoming national hydrogen fuel cell vehicle special plan.
According to estimates, the market space for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will exceed 300 billion and 700 billion in 2030 and 2050, and the market space for key system components will exceed 200 billion and 300 billion. At the same time, as the industrialization of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles matures, it is expected to create more application scenarios in the transportation fields such as ships and drones, as well as in the fields of energy storage and electricity and other people’s livelihoods.
